Nvidia officially introduced an updated version of the gaming tablet Shield Tablet. The novelty is called Shield Tablet K1, its design and technical characteristics, it is borrowed from last year’s model. However, so far only available in Wi-Fi only version. As before, the novelty can work with positioners via Bluetooth, and using the adapter supports keyboard, mouse, gamepads compatible with Android operating system. To the device it will be possible to purchase separately brand controller for $59.99, which is equipped with a small touch surface for cursor control, a headphone Jack and microphone.
Supplied tablet not included touch pen and protective cover. They can be purchased separately for $39.99 and $19.99 respectively.
K1 SHIELD tablet has 8-inch IPS Ekrem with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, 4-nuclear processor NVIDIA Tegra K1 with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz and a graphics accelerator Kepler with 192 cores, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal, expandable with memory card format microSD.
